Our hikes are proposed from June 22nd until August 25th of 2024, by booking.

Maximum of 5 persons.

Children from 6 years, under parental supervision.

Departures

Two departures per day, at times when deer are the most active:

• At the Sunrise
• Three hours before sunset

The sun is the reference point to set the time of departure, it varies depending on the season. The departure time will be established at the time of booking.

Meeting point

The meeting point is in Saint-Cirgues la Loutre (a small village located twenty minutes from Argentat).

After a short presentation about the roe deer and some « stalking » techniques, you will walk on a circuit located in Saint-Cirgues and sometimes, overlapping neighboring villages.

Duration of the hike

The hike duration is approximately 3h30. To maximize the chances of observing deer and other animals, the group progresses slowly, very slowly … so no need to be an Olympic athlete, but you must still be willing to walk 4 or 5 kilometers.

During your hike

All the attention of the participants will be put on the observation of roe deers. We will also teach you some stalking techniques to approach them closely, and you will have the opportunity to learn more about the life of this little cervid and other animals of the forests of Corrèze.

In addition, binoculars will be put at your disposal to facilitate the observation of animals.

Rate

EUR 80 per outing (to be divided between the number of participants)

You can also book an outing for you and your friends only. Whether you are 1, 2, 3 or 4 persons … just mention it at the time of booking.
